I used the spray when my hair was wet, after I showered. Then I blow-dryed
my hair. The curling iron shorted out and got hotter than it was supposed
to be, so that’s why it burnt off.

I’ve watched this vid a few times, and I now think it’s a hoax, like maybe
she burned a piece of fake hair in the hopes that the vid would go viral,
which of course it has. I say this because, if you watch it again, notice
how you can’t see the root / scalp on that part of the hair. She has
another piece of hair combed over the top of that strand, which is almost
impossible to do when you’re curling, unless you really try. Also, before
any curling iron or conical wand would actually burn your hair off, your
hair would start to smoke (I know this from having worked in salons in
years past), which would be visible in the vid, yet you don’t see any smoke
at all. Plus, she is holding her fingers way too close to the iron, and if
the iron were hot enough to burn her hair off, it would be emitting enough
heat that she could not have tolerated having her fingers this close. I am
sure this is a hoax.

The thing about the wand is you aren’t supposed to keep it in for more than
20 seconds it curls almost instantly, I only put it in for like 5-10
seconds and it looks good.
