Thank you for explaining. No one goes thru the basic of why certain things
should be choose and what works. Often times I see bride and don’t like it
but can’t figure out why. Would you say, best hair style with maathapatti
is middle parted hair?
She doesnt really need a peer and bindi. Btw where can u buy the matha
patti on the doll. It was so pretty
gr8 video… can u tell me where i can purchase these
@sabrinacoolest it certainly is not a must to have to wear contacts for her
wedding. Suddenly not wearing glasses after years of wearing then can make
someone feel very self conscious and is just too much of a change. However,
if she does want to wear them then to make an appointment with Boots
Opticians who actually do not give her the lenses until she knows how to
wear them. The teach appointments are personally highly recommended.
and if its ok for her to wear glasses would u recommend a particular types
of frames that is suitable for desi brides.
do u think its a MUST for the bride that wear’s glasses normally to wear
contacts on her wedding day if she doesnt wear contacts noramlly?
@hennafied thanks : )
@sabrinacoolest I couldn’t recommend frames. It’s a personal choice and
depends on her face shape. A safe option is rimless glasses or a
light/flesh frame as these will blend with her skin tone and not be too
obvious. Even then rimless depends on her prescription. Hope this helps : )

Hi, Can u please do a video on bridal hair style and tikkas for different
face shapes.I have pear (triangular) face shape i.e. I have narrow forehead
as compared to my cheekbone and jawline.I am going to get married next
year,but still unsure about how to style my hair and buy a tikka that suits
my face shape.Usually,I let my hair fall down with side partition and side
bangs. But for marriage, I suppose I need to get a updo hairstyle for
holding the dupatta.But it doesn’t suit me.Plz help!Thanks
@neharkhan ooh that’ a good idea….will do!
can you please show a matta patti with a scarf on as i want to wear a
simple one on my aunts wedding. thanks
Hi Nisha, really good and interesting video and it’s refreshing hearing it
from your perspective. We liked how you draped the matha patti along their
hair line as this offers a more traditional and cleaner look for brides.
However, we think you should keep the look of the matha patti simple and
not add the stick on bindis or jhumar as this looks about of place and
compromises on the positioning on the matha patti which should be as you
have placed on the mannequin (lower down). Great video!
