Long, Beveled Hairstyles : Hair Styling Tips

This is how my layers were *accidentally* 🙁 ..by hairdressers error, it
turned out this way, I now have this same layering cut on my just below
chin length hair. I have thick hair and hate the shorter layers in the
back. But will having it like this help my hair grow out to shoulder length
shaped this way? She kept only the back layers shorter and blended down.
The front layers are longer though.
